Rule To Know Before Installing The Engine

Installation of The Electric Motor on The Frame

There is also a belt drive (transmission) required for installation. Most often, this method of mounting an electric motor is used in work with fans and some machine tools.
  • Put the pulley on the motor shaft, while correctly selecting the key under the keyway.
  • With a belt drive, the electric motor is mounted on a sledge;
  • The electric motor should be mounted on the slide so that the axes of the shafts of the electric motor and the set in motion mechanism are horizontal and parallel to each other;
  • The middle of one pulley should be against the middle of the other pulley,
  • It must be possible to adjust the balance of the belt as it is drawn out, especially during the first operation time;
  • The sledge must be level parallel to each other and aligned both in the longitudinal and transverse directions;
  • The supporting surface under the sledge must be solid;
  • For the belt balance, bolts must be provided to screw into the mobile stops.
